Want some background before you pounce into the unknown? Well, I'll give you some! Ai Kittie is a normal eighth grade girl with a C- in Algebra right? Wrong … Well, she doesn’t know this is wrong … but it is … I mean, why would this happen to a girl who can barely stay-awake in History?? One day her and three friends decide to throw a slumber party and Ai is dared to go to the community playground at midnight in a tutu (which just happened to be lying around …) and long black boots, singing loudly of her love for Himoto. Being a kid you can never say no to a dare, right? Well, what did Ai Kittie find herself doing but following her four (fully clothed) friends to the playground in a leotard and tulle skirt! Hanging around the playground Ai Kittie triped over something that would change their lives forever! “What kind of lunatic would put diamonds on a fish-carcass?” but as they all stared laughably at the strange spectacle they didn’t suspect anything to happen … until, like a fortune fish the priceless garbage rolled forming four identical puffs of smoke to encircle each girl and then escaping from it’s fish-bone form by turning it’s self into a small diamond pendant on Ai Kittie’s neck. It told them the story of the four Goddesses. Earth, Wind, Fire, Water … and then it revealed that they were the four goddesses, after giving them their wands and pendants each girl suddenly transforms and are left in a strange new world where they must defend against evil ... and still manage her grades.
